Office Faces
Actually, Karl has an extensive background in music due to his past work in indie record stores, playing drums and his love for the art in general. His other interests include reading (avidly), dinner parties (occasionally in the rain) and traveling (ask him about his recent jaunt to San Francisco). Karl was born in Fayetteville, Tennessee and also spent time in St. Louis, Dallas and Amarillo before landing in Austin. He holds a bachelors in liberal arts from Austin College.

Karl “the man in black” Shewry is our office assistant at Dynamic and often the person you talk with during a visit to the shop. His color of choice is due partially to a year stint in trendy Seattle and also his affinity for “the” man in black.
