DIAZO BLUES
We recently bid farewell to our one remaining diazo machine. Over the last few years many of you have been switching from bluelines to digital bonds as we've been gradually upgrading our printing technologies. We reached the point where it was really difficult to find the parts to keep our blueline machine in good repair, so we held a "diazo wake" in December 2003. To those of you who have been using bluelines mainly to distinguish between final prints, revisions or addendums, we would like to offer samples of our large format colored bond papers. And we invite you to come by and see our new digital setup as well as a demonstration of how our online plan room works.
Please never hesitate to let us know if you have any questions, requests or suggestions about new technologies or anything else we're doing here at Dynamic.
NOW SHOWING
In case you haven't noticed, Dynamic has a couple of Oce 9800's and a TDS800 which have helped thoroughly modernize our production floor. The combination of RISC/Pentium brain and high speed copy press printers allows us to output scanned images, raster, and vector files to an extensive variety of media at a speed that exceeds that of old high-production diazo machines. This equipment can also create TIF, PDF and CAL files, and one of the strong points for you as our client is the ability to prep and preview your files with a ReproDesk remote software package. This free software allows you to view page position, line weights and fonts before sending out your document for prints. Then simply send your project using the built-in modem software and it appears at our main terminal ready for printing.
